UK government need to change the law on warranties from 1 yr to 5 yrs by law, I only buy Miele & take out the 10 yr warranty I’m in my 60s & never had to claim once in 40 yrs

This is all true but if the laws were strengthened, what will happen is that the retail price of appliances will skyrocket. The consumer always pays in the end

Buy yourself a Samsung and you won’t need to worry 😉 if your appliance is still running after 12yrs replace it with a new one… it’s out of date and is costing you money not good for your mental health. Treat yourself, you deserve it 😁

This happened to me. Got a replacement fridge freezer after two and a half years due to its poor quality. They weren’t happy but it happened. That was 15 years ago and the replacement is still fine. The bad one was a Beko by the way, last Beko I’ll be buying
