Oh my gosh I loved Edelweiss!! When we lived in Germany we used to go every October! Definitely check and see if you can stay there if you’re not stationed in Germany- I wanna say when we left in 2017 only members who were there under the SOFA agreement could stay there. It might have changed since we left but definitely call first!! The views in the morning of the Alps and hearing those bells on the sheep/goats is something I’ll never forget.
