Should’ve stepped down when he got injured. Kept going so he could go to World Cup. Cost Celtic cup final and countless goals that season due to selfishness. Joe hart only there two years. Massively loved as a former player. Schmeichel disliked by many for putting himself first. Shame. Should come out and say “I thought I could play thru but made a mistake I apologise” and Celtic fans would forgive. Seems to not want to. Obviously I don’t know behind the scenes.

The shoulder injury happened in march 2025 and he played through it and cost Celtic umpteen goals 2 trebles playing through it all to play at the World Cup. Should’ve had the surgery there and then and everything would have been fine
