One of my closest friends in this life is a 70 year old woman called Dee (I am 25 for context). She is like a partner in crime to me, and I couldn’t imagine life without her! Shes been struggling recently with leg sores, and she knows by now that when she rings and tells me she’s in A&E I am off like a shot, getting her pajamas and stuffed owl from her house, bringing her Nairns oatcakes and moaning at her for taking the BUS to the hospital rather then calling me. For me, it is a privilege.
