maybe an AI on TikTok, but it wouldn't be a bad science experiment for kids, especially if there were a couple of different ways being tried at the same time to see which way worked best.

Uhm , not quite right. Mind you this is an avocado seed, I put the pits of 3 hass avocado s in shallow water until the pit cracks in half and it shows the sprout then I planted in a pot with soil and located it by the window, now I have a foot long avocado plant coming up and the others are also blooming a bit slower. It just requires patience. And yes it will take 3 years or do to give fruit but you the point.

Lettuce suggestion, likely. Apples & grapes, I highly doubt it. Nowadays, apples are usually grafted to existing trees to get the ones growers want. Seeds don't usually grow "true" to parent. I don't know a lot about Grapevines (except for making wreaths, learned in JA decades ago) but I have a feeling what's shown here is probably "bullsh" as well. Besides, what is a "Grape Cutting" anyway, to soak in water!?!

Fruits don’t grow roots as shown for the apple or grapes by just putting them in water.You have to plant the seeds.
