I partly agree with you. Several of us have returned from abroad to work in Nepal. It is because they prefer to live an upper middle-class life in Nepal over an upper-class life elsewhere. It is true that they saw opportunities and returned. It is not about seeing opportunities that come and go. It is true that people travel abroad to seek opportunities. It is not true that people return to Nepal for opportunities alone. Yes, it is one of the reasons for returning, but family, culture, and friends are the primary reasons.

It's usually people who are trying to sell you something saying "Nepal mai basera garam bhaneko bla bla". What I dislike more is that these people act like it is our responsibility to support their business because they decided to "support" Nepal. Then there comes "Nepal hamro remittance le dhaneko ho" gang, as if the reason they went abroad is because Nepal needed remittance, and not their own selfish reasons to improve their and their family's financials. Not that being selfish in this regard is any bad. People should really stop selling their personal choices as sacrifices for the common good.
