It’s from the perspective of a woman who is conflicted about having an abortion and is dealing with a lot of religious guilt because of it. It isn’t meant to represent michaels own views :) he wrote it himself in his journal:3

Do you even know what this song is about??? This isn’t from his own perspective but it’s about a girl who is skeptical about getting an abortion due to religious guilt. He never stated whether or not he was pro life himself.
