In 2026, most cosmetics aren’t tested on animals anyway. The better question is: what is a company actually doing to help replace animal testing where it still exists? As someone who studies cosmetic chemistry a lot of things in cosmetics are done for advertisement for example in EU animal testing has been banned for over 10 years including imports from other countries so slapping a sticker of cruelty free is just seeking attention instead of raising awareness
