girl it took me 8 times 🤭 honestly tho give yourself more time to revise and when you keep passing the practice tests over and over again thats when you know to take your test 💝 becuase it will pretty much become second nature 👏 what really helped me is when im just chilling or going in shower i put a youtube revision video on in the background 🤣 so your always revising but dont put yourself diwn your time will come really hope you do pass girly 🌸🤍 xx

Honestly it’s so much easier to start lessons, understand how to drive and then do your theory! I did not get theory until I started driving then I sweated out my revision every night that was all I did and passed first time, good luck!!

a little bit of advice from an instructor of 44 years experience of its recently retired. one of my students failed seven before passing on his eighth. he was dyslexic and so am I. what a lot of people do is they get into the habit of doing the mock tests and just keep repeating them. I'm not 100% sure but I think there's quite a small database on those mock tests as you keep getting asked the same questions but you won't get them necessarily on the real theory test. so I got him in the car and it was the blind leading the blind. I told him and we did to forget doing the mock test and learn it. so what I mean is go to the learning phase and I informed him and we got the authentic theory test by the crown publishing. I believe it is a blue background with a crown on it it says crane publishing. that I'm guessing will be similar to the real test in layout. to go to the learning phase and look at the question and if it is 100% solid in your head for example what are the rules for a yellow box junction and you can answer it without looking at the answers they give you. answer it in your head and then find the answer. if any doubt whatsoever click on the button at the bottom and it will give you a full description of all the information that you need about that question and other ones similar. remember they will ask you questions and then come at you from different angles with the same question but phrase differently. you learn the information which is better for the real world of driving but better for a theory test. the lad I was teaching love doing it he loved learnings even though he struggled with the reading side and understanding. when he went through it earlier test and I'm not going to say anything here I didn't say to him. when I asked him questions he came back with gormless answers didn't have a clue. before it is 8th test it was bright as a button because he knew the knowledge I have no doubt he would pass. he said it was the only time he felt really confident and sailed through it. you had zero confidence in himself doing exams but he was a very good competent driver. passes driving test first time. I was going to say space. on the approach to his practical test I asked him how he felt about the test. his response was I'm bricking it. I told him if you keep telling yourself that you will be bricking it when you get to your test. you are rehearsing feeling that way. so I told him to go home and at night when you get into bed late quietly and relaxed and simply do a rehearsal of your test. so first of all start off with a simple run through. I get up in the morning and I feel confident and ready for the test have my breakfast and then I go out on my hour before the test and I drive confidently and feel really good and excited about taking the test. at the test centre the examiner is very nice we go for a drive everything goes fine and he says the immortal words I'm glad to say you have fast. repeat that or something in your own words that is positive no negatives a few times. then add a few more details but always positive how you do a maneuver or how you would attack one of the range abouts etc but at the end you always pass. a few times more and then add in some curveballs like stalling and how you would sort it out. hitting the curb on your reversal render park car and how you would sort it out. just keep adding them more on each run through in your mind until you have gone through all the things you do not like doing but you've now got them sorted in your mind in theory. obviously at the end of the test you're always get a pass certificate. he did this but honest test for a split second he lost it and was the old I'm useless driver. I gave him empathy by saying what I would be saying to myself if I was mucking up in other words pull yourself together focus get on with it and pass. the final thing I did was we were driving along passed away he lived and I wasn't sure. so I told him to turn off towards where you live and said in a jokey voice we might as well go home. quick as a flash in a loud and determined voice like a sergeant major no I've got my driving test in a minute. fully focused I knew he had passed that exact moment. Winnie past it was fantastic because he got his driving licence and I fully retired 100%. try the mental rehearsal it does work.
