Also when men say they’re method actors, they’re not even doing it right. Method acting is supposed be about drawing from personal memories and experiences to achieve a deeply authentic and truthful performance. Not staying in character 24/7.

I've been into theater a long time and have started to get theater theory lessons. Method acting as Stanislavski intended it is very useful. It has good things you can fall back on to really put yourself in the scene. However these actors going "method" are janking it incredibly out of proportion. What method is (at least how I've understood my teachers lessons on it) is still about acting and putting yourself into a character, not living a character. If you have so little imagination that you have to live it you're a bad actor in my opinion.
