For a longer journey it's also smart to choose very light clothes that dry very quick after washing: Then you need less luggage. Also all clothes should match in different combinations.

Ah yes backpacks! I am 163cm and i am looking for a backpack for short ( days-weeks) backpacking/hiking trips. I guess not more than 60 l, if even that much, rather something smaller that has add on options on the outside (nets, straps, clips, etc) in case i decide to pack a tent and camping gear.. and i pack light anyway, only the essentials. Anyway, any tips you have: what to look for, what brands you recommend, what types of backpacks are more suitable for hiking and a few nights of camping, versus which ones are better for backpacking and traveling? Maybe there is one that is good for all of it? I never had a outdoorsy type of backpack before so all the tips i can get would be helpful. Most importantly: price friendly! i am thinking second hand, but i would really need to know what i am looking for then. I really appreciate how much we all get to learn on this app!!! You are a treasure! ☀️
