What does Juneteenth actually do for black people at the end of the day? What are we doing with it to obtain equality and justice for all black people. All I've seen is line dancing and partying. That's not what Juneteenth should be or represent us as.

Because it wasn't white people who sacrificed their lives or anything to fight for your freedom. It wasn't Union Major General Gordan Granger, a white man who delivered the Emancipation Proclamation to Texas which was the whole point. You would be surprised how many black people don't know the significance of Juneteenth. I don't celebrate it but it but it's observed for its significance in our history.
