Bought a house in Wexford for 100k a few years ago put a few bob into it renovating it myself. I work in Dublin every week. Have a mortgage of less than 500 a month. You’ll get a 5 bed house with an acre of a garden for under 600k in Wexford. Easy to commute to Dublin also life is good 👌🏻 I’d highly recommend Wexford lad.

It’s fully at the point of it’s not where me and my partner want to live, it’s, what’ll happen to our kids now, instead of looking to the next step, you’re looking at another’s life and what’ll happen to them etc 🫤

Never mind 15 years. We had to move up to Drogheda. Not a hope of affording a decent sized gaff near mine or her oul pair. But, not mad at where we live now at all. It is worrying thinking about if we have kids what it will take for them to get their own place.

A little older but grew up 10 minutes from you, settled in Wexford now, commute isn't that bad to Dublin and if you wanna raise a young family, from experience I wouldn't dream of doing it in Dublin compared to the likes of here

Westmeath is a great spot. All counties bordering Dublin are gone to dear. Westmeath is still affordable 👍

The north on the broader. 50min drive and prices are 👌. You can get a morgage without an address up here. On my 3rd house 🏠
