I guess I'm a lot older. The TV dinners that we had came in an aluminum tray foil tray with only 3 sections at that time. For your your meat, your potato and a vegetable we used to use them when we would go ice fishing and put them on our stoves to cook used to be a good meal. Easy, throw away after you are done.No washing dishes

When I was little, my mother did not do tv dinners or fast food. After I went to a friends house where I was served a tv dinner, I went home and told my mother how good they were! The next day I came home and my mother was cooking. She said, “Look honey! I’m making tv dinners for you!” I cried, “I don’t want home made ones!” My mother was a French gourmet cook. I wish I had those today!
