@thelaceybahns: Sloane Elizabeth born at 4:52 pm 7lbs 5oz! Followed by her sister Stevie Grace at 5:03 pm 6lbs 14oz! ALL GLORY TO GOD! ✝️ He met me at every corner. He gave me the quickest birth that i prayed and prepped so so hard for. 1 hour after my first intense contraction + water breaking, they were in my arms💞 I am so so grateful for the choice we made to not induce the last few weeks!! Despite all the negativity i knew they were healthy, they passed all tests and they needed to grow more. They came out nice and big for twins! Ultimately at 40+4 (yesterday) we did decide to go into the hospital and get induced. We felt it was time for personal reasons. And my body was definitely on its last straw lol It was a BEAUTIFUL experience and we are so blessed to have two full grown healthy girls in our arms!! 🙌🏽 MASSIVE shoutout to the incredible doctors + L&D staff who assisted this birth. They are truly angels sent from God. Every birth I’ve had I’ve been so grateful for the support staff. It was intense because it all happened SO fast and there was almost an emergency c section for Stevie but the Lord provided me with a doctor (i never met) at the last moment who made the vaginal twin birth i prayed so hard for happen!! With barely any tearing! They did ONE stitch! Less than my other two births. I am truly in awe. I’ll share the full story very soon 🙏🏽 Thank you everyone for your prayers and support!😭 and to everyone who had negative things to say about me or the babies, or spoke poorly over us, i pray that you find Jesus. These were the hardest few weeks of my life and to have so much hate and nonsense from strangers while i was in such a vulnerable state was really eye opening to witness. I’m glad i documented the journey and stopped reading messages / comments at the end Thank you to my doula @mariyathedoula.atx Thank you to my photographer @whitneyhughesphotography Thank you to my rock through it all @stevenbahns Thank you Jesus for a miraculous pregnancy and birth #twins #twin #twinsofinstagram #twinsandmultiples
Glad you decided to do the right thing and not wait any longer 🥰

See how she’s in an OR? That’s because twin delivery is scary and they had to be prepared for everything.

“We felt it was time for personal reasons”… like wanting them to have a safe delivery?

oh I’m surprised she got induced in the end- wonder if it was bc labour didn’t happen and just thought the benefits of having them outweighed waiting any longer like 41 or 42 weeks

Well, I am so happy to hear this ended well. Although I don’t agree with your choice as a nurse of 25 years and a twin mom, I was truly hoping and praying for a positive outcome for you.

Honestly people need to mind their own business? She literally reinstated a thousand million times she's ok, babies are being monitored etc. "oh I'm an L&D nurse of 25 years and this is not safe" ma'am please?? she's their mom and no one else cares about those babies more than their own mom?? Not to forget she has 2 kids before so she definitely knows HER body and knows what she's doing?? Pregnancy makes you so vulnerable esp last few weeks and women tearing down women is beyond me. I'm so sorry that you had to go through all that mama! Just know that you made a right choice and worked so hard against all odds and you win!! 🥰✨

Congratulations! I respect that you honored your intuition, even when it was to seek out care that you originally didn’t plan for or desire. It wouldn’t have been my choice, but that is the beauty of bodily autonomy and I’m glad you had access to care that supported that bodily autonomy. I also love the names!
