We have to stop feeling, not good enough, not rich enough, not beautiful enough, not smart enough, not kind enough, not safe enough, and just feel enough to exist, and understand that we all fit in this category, and unite on this.๐Ÿ˜บ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ˜บ

People placed at the top of social hierarchy need every bit of healing as those placed elsewhere, if not more. Dysfunction is required to maintain dynamics opposing collective wellbeing; all deserve repair. I hope we all honor our true depth and connection to nature and each other.

I have a speculation about this too (not saying this video is speculation but my interpretation is)! My speculation is that white people have rationalized it through suffering. We hear things like โ€œsuffering builds characterโ€ or โ€œthis is a test of determinationโ€. I believe that these talking points keep us in a place where the harm is normal and we donโ€™t overly realize that it can be better. I believe that a lot of people are unwilling to try to make things better because if it can be done, it means that their suffering wasnโ€™t necessary. And to admit that and grieve that is a major task.

Interesting take. Especially since โ€œwhitenessโ€ really only exists because of colonization and the trans-Atlantic slave trade.

Im sorry but for some reason you are putting your mental illness on all white people. If you feel bad about something that you didn't do you are crazy. Also do you think that people of color don't have genocide, slavery, or any number of atrocities that their ancestors committed throughout history. So why would white people feel bad? Do blacks feel bad about their ancestors selling their neighbors to whites, or the many genocides in Africa that still happen today? So white people feeling bad about what other people did in the past is completely insane and it also doesn't do anything to fix those things because you can't unless you have a time machine. And one more thing that makes this post crazy is that you list the black death and the Spanish flu like they were caused by whites, like they inflicted those illness on minorities. Obviously that is insane as well as factually false, maybe you should have taken a few more history classes at your place of indoctrination. Because you are clearly confused on how many situations played out in the past. Lastly just because you are mentally ill and feel bad about something that you didn't do and something that you can't change doesn't mean that any other whites should share your illness. So good luck in life sounds like it's going to be a difficult one.
