The comments on eczema videos always remind me how many people are quietly dealing with the same thing 😭 everyone seems to have their own story, triggers and things they've tried. I spent years chasing skincare fixes while struggling with cravings, fatigue and feeling disconnected from myself. Then another woman in a discussion group mentioned Eat Like a Woman Protocol by Loren Green. A few months later I had more energy, lost 30 lbs and even noticed my skin looked brighter. Such a great read. Wish I had found it sooner.

I’ve got a dust allergy and my air purifier has been a god send, way easier to breathe and far less eczema too

I have eczema caused by dust mites, the main things that have helped are dust-mite proof bed sheets, an air purifier used overnight (with a HEPA filter), and frequent hoovering!

From what I can see, your dog is hypoallergenic so that should be fine. In terms of dust mites, they suggest you hoover the places where she sleeps 3-5 times a week. I’ve just gone through the exact same thing with the same allergins detected x

Hey Tuesday! I can imagine this is super hard to process but the first thing to note is you have a cockerpoo? They are hypoallergenic so shouldn’t be causing majority of the issue for Dorothy 🥰! I have an allergy to dust which can also be linked with shrimp so I would recommend keeping her away from that! An air purifier has SAVED my skin! ❤️

Your dog should be fine I think. But with the dust mites you might need to clean up and maybe get an activity going for the kids while you clean up i don’t know.

Rip the carpets out and replace with wooden floors, and get a hospital grade heppa filter hoover. And be super careful about new clothes and blankets gathering dust. You’ve just got to spend twenty mins a day hoovering the textiles in your home to keep on top of it x

Isn’t your dog a poodle cross? They’re normally hypoallergenic. My cousin is allergic to dogs so she got a cavopoo x

If she has any teddies in her room, get rid of them as they will gather dust and replace any carpets you may have with hard floor (especially if in her room)

as a fellow eczema gal, it’s going to be a long road ahead but dorothy has you as her mum and that’s enough in itself to get through this, even when it’s hard. remember nothing you did caused this and you WILL fix this no matter how long it takes.

Did they explain that a positive blood test doesn’t prove an allergy? It shows a sensitivity
