I hire for a different field. This all tracks, but one thing to add is that if you have no questions during or after an interview, you’re likely not getting hired. You’re interviewing me and my company as much as I’m interviewing you. I’m not such a great interviewer that I explained everything perfectly. If you have zero questions, I basically have to assume you didn’t care about anything said. Resumes need to be one page, bullet points. I don’t care what high school you went to. Don’t copy/paste responsibilities for jobs that were essentially the same.

My son did 4 internships in 3 yrs. He is working out of a construction trailer as a project controller. Sounds not glamorous but its the 3rd largest construction company in the US. Starting pay $75 k
