@kyiv_post: Ukrainian drones attacked the Moscow Oil Refinery (MNPZ) for the second time this week on the morning of Thursday, June 18, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced. "Air defense forces continue repelling a massive attack. Several drones managed to reach the MNPZ. Measures are being taken to mitigate the consequences, " Sobyanin wrote on Telegram. Located just 15 kilometers (9 miles) from the Kremlin, the MNPZ, owned by Gazprom Neft, supplies up to 40% of Moscow's fuel market and around 70% of gasoline consumed in Moscow and the surrounding region. The refinery's processing capacity exceeds 12 million tons of oil per year. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said the drone assault was the largest attack on the Russian capital in more than two years. According to Sobyanin, Russian air defenses shot down around 194 drones throughout the day. Commander Madyar said the operation involved Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), and military intelligence (HUR).
