it would work that way if gravity didn’t exist. Thankfully, gravity provides constant tension during flight dynamics, and so having to adjust to the curvature of the Earth isn’t necessary.

actually on a globe or a flat makes no difference , the plane is simply designed to fly nose up to fight gravity not a globe shape planet

except the atmosphere gets thinner the higher you go, so the plane naturally keeps its altitude... does this guy even realise jet engines don't work without air?
