My baby is one week old and refuses to latch, I’ve been exclusively pumping. On occasion she will latch and suckle 2-3 times and falls asleep

What about my milk flow is very strong, and baby still doesn’t want to latch she hates it, she only wants her pigeon bottle .. she’s 25 days old please help

they say that the composition of the milk adjusts based on what the baby needs, and that the amount of milk the baby needs does not increase with age. But what if you just pump? Will you need to increase the amount with increasing age, or will the body understand how the milk needs to be adjusted?😊

Both my babies have done this at the exact same time from 12 weeks spend weeks trying to change there mind but haven’t found anything that worked. Second baby 7mths and won’t take it at all now so I exclusively pump.

have you spoken about the nursing strike between 12-16 weeks before? id love to feel prepared, I've had a hard breastfeeding journey but I've hit a great pattern with my bub, we are at 13 weeks now and I'd like to feel prepared for a nursing strike so I don't mentally crash if it happens!

its heartbreaking that my 6 week old baby is refusing my breast. he was born early by induction at 37 weeks due to fgr, birthweight 2kg. we have been supplementing due to his size - ng tube (2 weeks), sns(1 week), and now bottle.. he has been refusing my breast for 3 weeks now.. he would latch and unlatch, very cranky but when i offer the bottle, he immediately settle down. i was also prescribed with domperidone it has been 4 weeks but my supply is still low (40 ml combined before feed 😔) i have been pumping every 2 to 3 hours and try to offer my breast to him as frequent as i could. I really hope my supply will increase cause i want to breastfeed him so bad😢

any advice on how to get babies off nipple shields? I had MRSA mastitis 2' to severe nipple trauma so used them temporarily, but now bub is refusing without as has adjusted to them! (he's okay with 2 x EBM bottle before bed/day)
