well it's a gel so, yeah obviously you'd have to check more than the allowable 3floz

They are liquid in the center.
Pnut butter is also considered a liquid.

The inconsistency with everything is my issue. One employee says one thing and another says something different.

Service announcement to anybody at all traveling, check tsa for what you can bring through. Having said that, the most frustrating part of the tsa is that its federal and yet certain airports follow certain rules while others do not.

Needohs are gel in a silicon shell. Per TSA gels and liquids must all fit in a single 1 quart bag and each must be less that 100ml total. Each needohs is 180ml. So yeah it’s not allowed.

they are a gel and there is a gel/liquid rule that'sbeen atound a ling tume. if you check on Google it tells you this. The small ones in less quantity would be ok. you wouldn't get that much gel/liquid thru no matter the type.

Grandma here. I know how expensive needohs are so thank you for the heads up. I’m traveling with my grandchildren next week and their entire inheritance (needohs) will be in their carry ons.

Petroleum jelly counts as a liquid. I assume anything close to that consistency all counts as a liquid.

It’s so fun how depending on where you go through TSA those might be okay, and they might not be… TSA makes up their own rules 99% of the time so anything liquid adjacent should be checked with any amount of common sense.

it's because it's filled with a gel and they can't open it to see what's inside.
