@thebeautydoctrine: Replying to @Lucy ❌ 🟤 The biggest mistake people make with melasma is treating the pigment while ignoring the triggers. You can lighten pigment and still continue creating new pigment at the same time. That's why so many people find themselves on a cycle of temporary improvement followed by rebound pigmentation. An effective melasma strategy should address both: ✔️ The triggers ✔️ The pigment Common melasma triggers: • UV exposure • Visible light • Heat • Hormonal fluctuations • Inflammation • Aggressive skincare My approach focuses on: ☀️ Tinted mineral sunscreen with iron oxides 🍊 Antioxidant support 🟤 Tranexamic acid 🌙 Gentle cell turnover ✨ Pigment management 🛡️ Barrier support The goal isn't just fading existing pigment. The goal is preventing new pigment from forming. #DealsForYouDays #SummerWins #TikTokCreatorPicks #Melasma #Hyperpigmentation
I used to use Musley. And it helped. But got too expensive. I honestly don’t agree with the one I bought on TikTok. I really like your other suggestions. I wish I saw this post before I just purchased the one from the dermatologist at $50. And yes she is using the bleaching. 🤦🏽♀️. I feel that my melasma got worse as soon as I hit perimenopause.
