The core idea is flawed, Bic lighter is Bic massively is because it's very cheap to produce and doesn't leak fuel. In this video they just replaced a rare expensive novelty lighter with an expensive novelty lighter

my question would be... what if you want to reignite it but the lever is too hot from being right beside the flame? How would you do this without burning your thumb/finger?
