If you had something like a push up bar on the floor to raise your hands that little bit higher, you would be able to push further up and should get onto the sofa comfortably. Top effort tough, fair play

I find it easier to have my entire back to the sofa and if no one’s around to hold knees I’ll cross my legs to try to keep the out the way! I have short arms so can’t do anything sideways 😂 to get down I put my

Try a small foot stool to act as a half way point! 2 smaller transfers rather then in 1 :)

hi! I have a recent video on me doing this exact transfer! its a quick video but I essentially have one leg straight and one bent with all of my weight on that one leg while transferring. Hope that helps 🙂
