@michaeltothemax: Limerence is one of the most misunderstood experiences after a breakup. Many people think they’re in love when they’re actually attached to a fantasy. Limerence doesn’t change who the other person is. It changes how you see them. You focus on their potential, minimize their flaws, explain away red flags, and become emotionally dependent on the hope that things might change. The danger isn’t the obsession itself. The danger is believing the obsession is evidence that they’re “the one.” Intensity is not compatibility. Intensity is not health. Intensity is not destiny. Often, what you’re grieving isn’t just the person. You’re grieving the future you imagined, the validation you wanted, and the life you hoped would happen. Love sees people as they are. Limerence often sees people as we need them to be. If you’re struggling with heartbreak, attachment, limerence, or emotional recovery, follow for more insights and listen to The Climb Higher Podcast. Remember, the higher you climb, the better the view. #Limerence #BreakupRecovery #AttachmentTheory #HeartbreakHealing #RelationshipAdvice

Alcohol and Marijuana can exasperate the situation. You’ll never achieve true regulation without being clean

omg I love this.... I agree so much with you.... I have healed from all of this nonsense from men, friendships etc over the years, that it doesn't interest me anymore, and when I am not so accepting of this or niave to fall so quickly for words at the beginning they drip off because im not that vulnerable, however I am willing I get to know someone and be playful but with tje right person at the right time not the fotst few days of talking to me its to false and not genuine and I will continue to protect myself this way, actions & consistency both ways is the only way I feel I could connect with someone on a deeper level trust is built and so is respect with out that there is no foundation for a health relationship in this day & age unfortunately. love this video 🙏❤️
