😂😂 your reasoning is not wrong and the reason is not that “gently woke her up” is wrong, but that more detailed wording can show exactly how the person was awakened. However if your workplace accepts “gently woke her up” and it accurately reflects what happened it is generally a perfectly reasonable phrase to use in care records. Simplicity and accuracy are often better than using unnecessarily complicated language🥰
