i hate that we weren’t taught this. i was always confused where the sharp pain happened around ovulation cause it’s right under and next to my uterus so i worried there was something wrong with where my ovaries are positioned

i completely agree that theres a lot of misrepresentation in anatomy teaching, but the uterus is literally presented as it would look laid nicely so you could see all the structures, as is with all the other organs when shown individually. In diagrams of the pelvis as seen from the angle in the video, the uterus is shown as would be in real life and not neatly laid down. There are many issues to be addressed regarding the teaching and literature of female anatomy, but I dont think this is one of the main ones…
