i think it's because sighted people can't imagine not seeing, like when we close our eyes we 'see' black... but also legally blind doesnt mean no sight, maybe they are wondering where on a spectrum of nothing, to light/dark to shapes to blur to sight you sit. but as a sighted person I cant imagine seeing nothing as a concept. you know?

so many, if not most legally blind people, see something though, even if it's not anything useful, like just blurry colours or a tiny bit of light perception

I think the problem is a some people are impaired to a greater or lesser degree,... also its difficult as a sighted person to imagine life as a blind person...presumably u 'see' black.... dark ... ....

May I ask… your pupils and iris are clouded over. But does your retina still work okay but not able to translate the view because of the haze. Wondered if it was dark or light you see as visibly impaired

some people see light thats it, some peaople just see darkness but some people just see nothingness (not black, impossibly to comprihend if you dont have it)

I think what they mean is from your time when you could see, and now how would you describe it? Like is it dark and you have like just that tiny bit of light like the light at the end of a really dark tunnel? Cus you said you can see light or is it like something else

your right eye is more or less white til the iris .. your left eye is more blue speckled white .. I wonder do you feel more light through your left eye .. I understand you cannot see .. but hey god made you perfect in all other ways .. bless ya 🙏 ✨💕

I'm dying because there are blind people out there who see "some things" who are out there advocating at the top of their lungs that not all blind people see nothing and it's working so now people assume all blind people see something still 😭🤣
