Hands that carved stories into wood, wove memory into cloth, cast kingdoms into bronze, and carried beauty as a sacred duty. I am not the echo of another people. I am the continuation of a thousand lineages, born beneath vast skies, where the drum spoke, where the river taught, where dignity was wealth long before gold. In my veins walk queens and kings, not crowned by empire, but by honor, wisdom, and the courage to remain themselves. I carry the patience of the weaver, the vision of the sculptor, the pride of the griot, the strength of the blacksmith shaping destiny from fire. Africa lives in me not as a place I must explain, but as a presence I embody. I will not make myself smaller to fit another gaze. I will not soften my roots for the comfort of strangers. I stand as the child of makers, of dreamers, of builders of cities, of guardians of memory. My heritage is not a burden. It is an inheritance of greatness.
