I have a thermostat delete and it runs at 188 all summer long when it’s 110 outside, but I have my fans tuned to turn on at 180 and it’s adjusted on my tune. No issues at all

If lowering your thermostat doesnt drop your running temp, your coolant system is lacking. I swap my thermostats on my trucks in the Fall to 195 for the winter, and 160 in the summer. I can garuntee you if I wait to swap back it is very noticeable in the seasons.

I run the 797 Performance thermostat delete kit in my 6.1 Jeep. My engine runs much cooler even on 100° days in traffic my coolant temp doesn’t see above 190°

Since the turbo happened, im having issue getting it over 160°. Not a problem but its always weird to see😂

It goes in the close loop before 180 so it’ll be fine. You might get a light for not warming up all the way I got a 180 in my Durango and it’s fine.

I've done away with a standard oil plug on all of my vehicles and went to the quick drain so much better
