My brother, his girlfriend and I saw RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK on opening weekend in ‘81. We had no idea what the movie was going to be about except it was Lucas and Spielberg. We and the audience lost our shit - screaming, laughing, having a hell of a time. I’ll never forget it.

I was 16 and working in a second-run movie theater during the rerelease, and i had never seen it before bcuz my parents were strict about movies/tv. Working there gave me my introduction to horror!
