If you just let them fall the second they come off the iron, your hair is still super hot in that moment which means it is soft and still setting. The second you drop it, the weight of your own hair starts pulling it down and that is exactly how you end up with loose waves instead of real curls. ✨ INSTEAD catch the curl in your hand and hold it for a few seconds, then clip it up and let it cool in that shape. THAT is what locks everything in. 🫶 If you want extra hold, mist a heat protectant hairspray before you curl. It makes a huge difference without making your hair crunchy.
