cant imagine. I've had these symptoms on/off for many many years but I've always maintained a sliver of awareness despite how real it is to experience. terrifying. I cannot imagine how difficult it would be completely unaware 💔

My psychiatrist put me on a medication for schizophrenia for having insomnia because the medication had a side effect of making me really tired instead it made my brain see things that weren’t there and hear things that weren’t there. It made me terrified. Once my parents found out what the medication was actually used for, they called out my psychiatrist and immediately took me off the medication. believe it or not, It was the medication that made me see and hear things. I hope to not stumble upon something like that ever again.

it’s also been found people with schizophrenia in different countries experience it differently. in america people often see demons or monsters in their psychosis while someone in india may see an angel. that’s just how huge environmental factors affect the condition
