this sort of thing happens hundreds of times a day across our country. upper management knows it, the judges know it, and the prosecuters know it. And none of them do any thing about. instead they foster it by allowing it to continue, when its not only in their power to stop it, but its their duty and responsibility to stop it.

Aww how cute. "Last chance or I'll put you in jail". I'd have me a nice little nest egg after I'd mop the courtroom floor with him. False Imprisonment, 1st Amendment Violations, retalitory stop, etc. Nothing the bicyclist did broke the law. Cop might want to get a bit more training. Florida Statute 316.2065 specifically states that a cyclist riding on a sidewalk or across a crosswalk has all the same rights and duties as a pedestrian.
