Parts were filmed on Lower Wacker Drive in Chicago, where the Tumbler was launched over a car traveling about 30 mph using a ramp dragged behind the vehicle. A special-effects explosion was triggered as it cleared the car, causing it to crash and break apart. The destruction was achieved practically, not with CGI, making it one of the most ambitious stunt sequences in the trilogy.
