For a flat it can go up to 70% off the market value. ➡ You can make a joint application with anyone who shares your tenancy, or include up to three family members who have lived with you for at least 12 months. ➡ The discount replaces your deposit. The years you have already paid rent count toward what you owe. You will need a good credit score, solicitor fees, and the decision to move. Yes the window is smaller than it used to be. But this is still one of the most powerful wealth building opportunities available to working class people in this country. This is your foot on the property ladder. This is something your children can inherit. This is the beginning of building real wealth.
