How can Pluto not be the ruler of Scorpio when you literally described all the qualities of Pluto. 'Behind the scenes' (Underground), drive/ courage (intensity), and internal. Mars energy is all about exuding outwardly, Scorpios more so rather keep to themselves and would not put themselves out there like an Aries would. We are internal beings, at war on the inside, in the shadows. Literal Plutonian energy.

it's the court, with sun/ moon luminaries as God and goddess. next fastest planet is mercury, so on either side of the sun and moon stands a mercury ruled sign (Virgo, Gemini) then the next fastest planet is Venus, and so on either side is a Venus ruled sign (libra, Taurus). if you imagine it like court attendants standing in a line it is beautiful in its symmetry

Makes a lot of sense. As a Scorpio rising with a Cancer Mars, I’ve never really felt the stereotypical Mars energy within myself even though it is my Ruler. Sounds like a more “watery” Mars has needed more nuance. Thanks!

Scorpio Rising dweller here, and I’ve always been on the side of Mars (and other traditional planets) being the chart rulers, especially since my natal Mars in Leo is squared Rising point to the EXACT degree, he’s on my ass EVERYDAY😭
