I love running but get such bad headaches afterwards. I have tried everything hydration wise and food wise. Still happens so I stopped [Teary eyed]

Going up hills, I keep saying "just to the next lamp post" then tap each lamp post to power up til I get to the top!😁

don't look at the floor, pick your head up and focus on something in the distance!

dont stop at 2/3k when it starts to feel hard, push on for 500m more and you'll be at 10k before you know it

My toxic trait is, “you can do anything for 10 more minutes…” about 50 times in a row

Stretching should’ve been in the first slide the amount of ppl I see run without stretching even a little is shocking

the first 3k is always the hardest, after that it feels like you can run for as long as you want

and if you stop after 10 minutes... that's 10 more than you would have done had you just canceled the run 😁

Chewing gum while running helps keep your mouth from getting dry. Game changer

Nike Run Club App has THE BEST audio guided runs for free!! You can sync it with your spotify etc and it automatically lowers the volume in your song so you can hear the coach, then the coach will pop out and your music amps back up!! I use it for every run - and it tracks it for you too!! 🥳

One of my hack is noise cancelling headphones or ear buds. If I can’t hear my self huffing and puffing then I feel and perform better at my runs (for some weird reason).

My problem, well one of my problems, is that I run out of breath really easily. Like I’ll run for 30 seconds to a minute and already be huffing and puffing.

I recently started listening to a podcast while running and it really is a game changer. You’re not looking at the time because you’re so invested in the story

Podcasts made a huge change to my runs! Also chewing gum to help regulate breathing. On long runs 10k+ don’t forget to fuel with gels or sweets.

Saying “easy, light, smooth” repeatedly in your mind can help when you feel off. Also visualizing your run the night before helps

im a very, very beginner runner and the tip of walking breaks makes me feel so much better. I've done 1mile of a constant run/jog (in 13mins so not sure if you can say a run🤣). ive been so scared to go back out and run because I thought slowing it off to a walk was cheating and I couldnt call it a run if I walked some of it 🙈 i have hip dysplasia so high impact exercise like running i shouldn't really do but then thrill i feel when I push past my limits is incredible
