@heartofdating: What if you asked God for a sign… and He just gave you back what you already decided? That's not a hypothetical. That's Ezekiel 14:4. If you come to God with an idol already set up in your heart — He will answer you according to that idol. So if you're already anxious. Already convinced this person is just like the last one. Already halfway out the door in your heart— You might bring that to God and hear "leave." And think it's Him. But it was never Him. It was just fear. And God let you hear it back. This is why processing with the Lord actually matters — not just praying at Him, but coming to Him neutral. Open. Willing to be wrong about what you think you already know.
