@siprina_me1: If you're struggling with trading capital, I always tell traders that prop firms can be one of the smartest ways to grow in this industry. Let me give you a simple example. Imagine we have two traders, each with $40. Trader A decides to deposit the $40 into a personal live account, while Trader B uses the same $40 to purchase a funded account from a prop firm. Now, Trader A might get lucky and flip that $40 into $100 or even $200. But the problem is that with such a small account, proper risk management becomes very difficult. If Trader A follows professional risk management and risks only 1% per trade, the potential profits are extremely small. This often leads traders to overleverage, take unnecessary risks, and eventually blow their accounts. On the other hand, Trader B now has access to a funded account, let's say a $5,000 account. By risking just 1% per trade, Trader B is risking $50 while still following sound risk management principles. If the funded account has a maximum drawdown of $500, that means Trader B can afford around 10 consecutive losing trades before losing the account. Compare that to Trader A, who may only survive two or three bad trades before the account is completely wiped out. That's why trading is a game of probabilities and numbers.
