@uncover.quantum: Scientists just confirmed that darkness can travel faster than light. A 50-year-old prediction that nobody could test—until now. ⚛️🌌 Inside every light wave are tiny points of complete darkness where the wave’s amplitude drops to zero. Physicists call them optical phase singularities. Back in the 1970s, John Nye and Michael Berry predicted these dark points could move faster than the light wave carrying them. For decades, it remained impossible to verify. Researchers at Technion in Israel finally captured it. Using an ultrafast electron microscope, they tracked these dark points moving within a single cycle of light. When opposite dark points approached annihilation, they briefly accelerated beyond the speed of light in a vacuum. No laws of physics were broken. These dark points carry no mass, no energy, and no information. Einstein’s speed limit only applies to things that do. What sounds like science fiction is actually a beautiful confirmation of a 50-year-old prediction—and could help advance next-generation microscopy and optical information technologies. 🔬 📚 Sources: Nature Physics (2026) | Physics World | Technion Israel Institute of Technology
darkness is the absence of light
darkness is not a thing

False, light is what created therefor darkness is the illusion of instant the same way a shadow casts darkness does not mean that light wasn’t already behind the shadow, the darkness can not exist without light, we may not be able to visually see the energy of the full spectrum but darkness simple can not exist when our creator is a source of energy, light, and matter. Darkness is the absence of our creator making it so it simple cannot be faster than light because it would need the light to fade to darkness which is not instant.

"Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it."

darkness is always there! it does travel. what's the speed of darkness then?

How does an absence vanish?
Does annihilation of absence become light?

Nighttime is not ‘dark out’ it’s ‘dark on’. The darkness you see at night is just a shadow on all the objects. The air at night is clear as day.

so let there be light or let there be light n darkness or let there be darkness or let there be darkness n light???

I've always wondered about the speed of darkness darkness is faster than light because it has to escape itself

why can't we just change the color of stuff to achieve free energy then? like propulsion?

Also the empty vacuum of space (I guess ‘darkness’ in a sense?) between distant enough objects expands faster than the speed of light due to dark energy

what is this representation of change that is the arrival of darkness? everything propagates through space at the same rate of change.
