So what if you are the mum in this situation now with a son. I am in this situation and acutely aware that I don’t want to become the mother in law of dread. I haven’t been loved by my husband and I would like to think I’ve not turned my son into an emotional support crutch. and if the mother got out of the situation? not all survivors of narcissists project on their children. there are really people out there doing hard work ( divorce, therapy, home consulting by education professionals,...) to be and stay the steady, healthy parent regardrless their pain.

but sometimes there are those situations whereby the woman was mistreated by the husband but the sons learned from the mistake of their father and all them have been living well with their spouses for over 15 years, maybe 1/10 cases I guess
