How does this genuinely happen to people? The airline does such a wonderful job communicating via email with up to date information, especially one that comes as early as 36 hours prior to departure notifying you it’s time to check-in

nearly as bad as us missing our honeymoon flight to Cuba. they said not to worry they'll put us on the next one.... in 4 days time. we didn't go at all as we didn't want to fly 10 hours each way for a long weekend 😫
