What's Over There :
Absolutely wrong. The straight's closure strengthened Iran's position over time! Trump confirmed it. In 4 weeks time, the world was going to run out of oil reserves. Its why the deal has been done!

It was obvious they were gonna close it . Iran 🇮🇷 announced long before the war began that would close it if under attack. They also warned they’d strides all US interests in the region. And they did exactly what they said they would. Problem is that US underestimated their capabilities and thought they were bluffing 😂😂😂 and then found out later that they weren’t bluffing , 42 aircrafts US lost against Iran

He's leaving out that his idiot boss thought that the regime would fall in three days. Although he's playing it cool in this interview, his idiot boss also acknowledged that large parts of the world are weeks away from running out of oil as we speak and that there is no current solution to the Iran situation.

Why do you think we took over Venezuela a few weeks before we went into Iran? It was all strategic planning because we knew Iran would cut off oil supplies, so we stocked up ahead of time

there's no question the US knew the Iranians would close the strait, we all knew they'd do it, as did anyone who has at least 5 functioning brain cells and can Google the history of Iran's military actions in the strait, starting in the 1980s when they mined the international waters there during the Iran/Iraq war, resulting in the USS Semuel B. Roberts getting hit by one such mine, later in 2011 the Iranian president Achmanijad publicly threatened the US with closure of the strait if it insists on curbing Iran's nuclear program, so there's nothing new about any of it. Too bad the host of this podcast couldn't be bothered doing that kinda 5 minute Google search before the interview, makes him look very unprofessional, but I guess that's just the standard level of current so-called "journalists" both in the mainstream and the podcast circle. The US knew they'd do it, but trying to orchestrate an operation to clear all tankers from the Gulf prior to the military escalation that led to the abrupt closure would have taken many months, which they didn't have.
