Little did she know just how much we would need her. Through nearly 5 years of infertility, heartbreak, failed treatments, losses, endless appointments, and tears, she has been our constant. She has been there on the days we’ve celebrated and the days we’ve fallen apart. She has sat beside me through injections, comforted me after negative tests, and somehow always known when I needed a cuddle without me saying a word. She will never truly understand how much she has helped us through this journey, but she has been our rock when we needed one most. People often say, “She’s just a dog.” But to us, she’s so much more than that. She is family. She is comfort. She is unconditional love.
