I had this happen to me and I called the actual Sheriffs Office on 3-way and the scammers did NOT like that 😂

there’s a popular one in my county sending a notice of hearing for the local district court and i often get the texts of it while i’m actively sitting in that court waiting for my case to be called lmao

They called me and a gave a very Emmy worthy performance I said "ok ok please hold" and he said "hold?" and I said "yes. I need to put you on hold" and I muted the phone. He sat in silence and eventually hung up. Case Closed.

i got this same exact call yesterday!!!! told them to send that bill the mail and come to my house and arrest me because i’m not giving my payment over the phone or at some kiosk and they hung up on me 😭

Oh my gosh I got one that said I missed a federal court subpoena. My husband is a PD and my MIL is a magistrate and it still got me for a minute. I was so embarrassed.

I figured you were doing to ask which District right off the bat. I also had a scammer try to get my paralegal, and the had a fake notice to appear from the northern district of GA, signed by a judge from SDFL. Love how you bated him into saying which circuit !!
