Said something similar on another post, but my brother describes our dad’s passing like this. Dad loved trains, and even in hospital, my brother helped him take photos of them. When he died, my brother said Dad had simply stepped off at his stop, and that one day, when it’s our time to get off, he’ll be there on the platform, camera in hand, ready to capture us arriving. Life, he said, is like a train journey ❤️
