The problem with bananas and potatoes is that they are high in starch. Whereas avocados and beets, don’t have that starch.

If already on high blood pressure meds should you not eat these? You already told us not to eat bananas if on the meds.

Lentils are good for it but if you’re on Ramipril you get warmed not too overly eat a few of those bananas before I was diagnosed I was just about living on these as high potassium levels can kill I went to 7:2 and rushed into hospital I didn’t know or have any warnings !! But my blood test showed different carnivore I had tried before but I ended up with deficiency’s and on medication for life and I’m hashinitos too so always get checked before you start any diet if you have high blood pressure especially if you’re already on medication for high blood pressure if not go for it but I love beets and vegetables but I’m restricted to what I eat now .. just saying !
