@stephanie.schutt: it was never really about the pool house. it was about the fact that i got to decide. i think that’s what people miss when they look at things like this. they see the pool. the pool house. the finished project. what they don’t see are the years that came before it. the ordinary days. the conversations. the risks. the discipline. the moments where it would’ve been easier to spend the money, slow down, or convince myself that what i wanted wasn’t possible. a few years ago, spending this kind of money would’ve felt completely out of reach. today, the entire pool project cost roughly 54% of what i earned in a single year. i don’t say that to impress you. i say it because i think people dramatically underestimate what is possible when they stop looking for shortcuts and commit to building something over time. the greatest gift this business has given me isn’t a pool, a pool house, a trip, or a title. it’s options. it’s getting to decide. it’s the ability to create things for my family that once felt impossible. it’s the ability to give generously. it’s the ability to say yes to opportunities without fear being the deciding factor. every time i walk out here, i’m reminded that most things worth having are built long before they’re visible. the pool house is beautiful, but that’s not the part i’m most proud of. i’m proud of the woman who kept showing up before there was anything to show for it.
